Tour Highlights

Yahava Koffeeworks: A stop at Yahava Koffeeworks in Margaret River is the perfect start to the journey, as it’s sure to give you plenty of energy for the exciting day ahead. Yahava is a well-loved, local WA company that sources coffee beans from all around the globe. They offer a range of different coffees for you to try on their tasting benches, and an expert will walk you through the options while explaining how each cup is brewed – you can even watch the beans being freshly roasted right in front of you. For those of you who aren’t coffee fanatics, there is a large selection of loose-leaf teas to ensure you will be suitably perked up as well.

Nookery Cafe @ Woody Nook Wines: The Nookery Cafe is set against an impressive backdrop of jarrah and marri forest. It has a rustic, cosy charm, both inside the cottage-style building and outside under the shady pergola or on the all-weather alfresco patio by the fish pond. There is also a grassy play area with swings for children and meals especially for them.

Mchenry Hohnen: Mchenry Hohnen’s vineyards are managed using 100% biodynamic methods which are designed to improve the vitality and health of the soil. Biodynamic is similar to organic farming in that both take place without chemicals, but biodynamic farming incorporates ideas about a vineyard as an ecosystem, and also takes into account astrological influences and lunar cycles. Natural composts and manure teas are made onsite, no chemicals are used and in the main, lunar cycles are observed in administering the biodynamic regimes – “a better environment gives you a more enjoyable wine.”

Pickup from your accommodation: To make the early morning start a bit easier for you, we pick you up from your accommodation or nominated meeting point(within the Margaret River Region).

Yahava Koffeeworks: Yahava for a demonstration on how to brew coffee and learn about the origin of coffee while enjoying the extended tasting.

Mchenry Hohnen: Mchenry Hohnen, where you can appreciate the sustainable, eco-friendly practices while tasting the fruitful results paired with local meats and cheese on crackers.

Brown Hill Estate: Brown Hill Estate – a family owned and operated vineyard, with a passionate team that utilises traditional wine-making methods such as hand-picking and sorting the fruit. They specialise in using small, intensely flavoured grapes, which create deeper, richer wines. Observe the wine-making processes, tour the barrel room, and learn more about the history of the winery from their trusted experts.

Nookery Cafe @ woody nook wines: For lunch, we head to the nookery cafe at woody nook wines for a two-course feast and glass of wine. After lunch enjoy a seated wine tasting in the gallery.
